Az autentikus népzene mellett népzenei feldolgozásokat is hallhatunk tőlük. Rendszeres résztvevői Magyarország legnagyobb fesztiváljainak, emellett az elmúlt években felléptek mind Európában mind a tengerentúlon. Játszottak többek között Venezuelában, Indiában, Görögországban, Angliában, Ukrajnában, Romániában, Szlovákiában és az Egyesült Államokban. Most a Nemzeti Színház előtt, a Hajóorrban hallgathatják meg őket.

István Pál Szalonna and his band
The members of the band are the musicians in the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble. At their concerts, they perform some of the most exquisite music of the Carpathian Basin, including both authentic folk music and original adaptations. They regularly participate in the largest festivals in Hungary, and in recent years they have also performed across Europe and overseas.
They have already performed, for instance, in places like Venezuela, India, Greece, England, the Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia and the United States.
Now they will be performing in the Prow in front of the National Theater.
