I do not intend to provide a panorama of Ady’s poetry, rather, I recite the poems in which I found answers to my own problems. These poems show the poet nearing the end of his life with his unrelenting sense of responsibility, his combative and scourging love for his homeland in the middle of Europe, his relationship with the past, with history, with his fellow intellectuals, with literary journal Nyugat, and his grateful reminiscing about past loves, dreams, hopes.
