Mother Courage 16
Surviving the war. Mother Courage, Brecht’s (world) war classic is staged by renowned Greek director Theodoros Terzopoulos. Manager of the Attis Theatre and a founder of the International Theatre Olympics, Terzopoulos directed last season's tragedy The Bacchantes using his own theatrical method, The Return of Dionysus. This time round, he seeks the original meaning of tragedy through Brecht's play, published in 1941, whose obvious and sad relevance is due to the war in our neighbourhood.
