Twelve Angry Men

Twelve jurors have to determine the fate of a boy accused of patricide. If they found him not guilty, maybe they will let a criminal loose on society. If they find him guilty, they might be sending an innocent person to his death. Twelve civilians meet for the first and last time in a room locked with a key, to examine the facts impartially, but they are unable to leave their own lives outside the door. They lay into one another. Does it matter any more what the truth is? Reginald Rose’s disarming, now classic drama, in a new translation by Kornél Hamvai, with a star cast.
