Labyrinth of happiness 16

In the 1960s and 1970s, artistic life in Budapest was as lively as in Paris at the turn of the century. Labyrinth of Happiness seeks answers to the question of how people tried to find joy amidst elective affinities. It is always difficult to be happy, but the path leading to the middle of the labyrinth can be found. It depends on us whether we choose to follow it, for the trip is difficult and painful, and this often leads to murderous passions that we turn on ourselves. Perhaps this is why we have such a talent for self-destruction. This is a tradition that stretches back hundreds of years, but it is not a divine curse.

Those who venture to the center of the labyrinth (like the protagonist), after having endured the pain of knowing themselves, can be born again. They will learn, in their lives, how to live and let live.
