“Where, oh where, is the lover?” Mari and Liliomfi are in love with both the theatre and each other, but paternal strictness stands in their way. Erzsi and Gyuri are facing similar problems in Telegd. The only question is: how many roles must they take on to outwit Szilvai Tódor and Kányai Zsigmond, when the guitar, the rooster, the witty companion and the chatty waitresses are already in place? And, of course… there’s Mámi, too…
