Mattia Sebastian Giorgetti
Born in Milan, he has been part of the theatre company “La Contemporanea” as a director, actor and manager organizing international festivals, cultural events and publishing the theatre magazine “Sipario”. He became Associate Director of the SCOT Company (2010) and for I-SCOT (International program) he directed The Blue Bird by Maeterlinck, The Bald Soprano by Ionesco, Turandot by Brecht. With his own company he realized The Pelican by Strindberg, Medea Material by Heiner Muller (Japan, Italy, Austria), Midsummer Night Dream by Shakespeare, Eleven Vests by Edward Bond. He toured in Japan, China, Portugal, Siria, U.S.A. He played in The Merchant of Venice from Shakespeare, Edipus Rex by Sophocles, Peace by Aristofane, King Lear by Shakespeare directed by Tadashi Suzuki and Antigone by Sophoclesdirected by T. Terzopoulos. Sebastian also teach in several theatre schools, University and during the Summer Camp in Toga the “Suzuki Method for Actor Training”. For The 9th Theatre Olympics he served as Executive Director for Europe.
