The people of Yahoo are divided into tenant farmers who have round, bald heads and the landlords who have pointed heads, alternately identified as Czuchs and Czichs. The villainous Czichs are at the root of all problems – at least according to Iberin, the Viceroy's deputy, who assumes power after the weak ruler abdicates, abandoning his restless people. Soon it becomes clear that his devious methods are devised to plunge the country into war.
